This publication is produced three times per year; and what’s most significant about its offerings are the many events and happenings the Tower Times highlights.

Being a native Detroiter, I am always looking for valuable opportunities to experience the city that I love with friends and family. Now that I’m older, I desire to include more to these experiences than just visiting Mama’nem. The Tower Times allows me to do just that.

In Volume 13-Number 2, Winter 2014 issue the Tower Times had undergone a new design that was readable, vibrant, organized, and readable. The message from the President, Dr. David J. Fike, included detailed happenings and collaborations that impact the city and the nation. The issue continued with highlighting career enhancement programs along with the wonderful announcement of the Contemporary American Authors Lecture Series guest speaker. There were several other cultural events showcased along with opportunities for recognition, awards, service, and artistic experiences to participate in.

The Tower Times is definitely a special resource for all, however if you aren’t the kind to paint your whole body or face in the colors of a college you’ve never attended and root them on to victory, then check out your own college or university’s alumni association relations and get involved. It’s a great way to relive some of the best memories of your life while serving and supporting those who are completing their educational journeys.
